happy days
the days are going by so fast! jess is twenty one weeks today! crazy right? it seems like if i blink the baby might be born before i know it. work is still going great, we have our christmas party coming up this weekend which should be a ton of fun. christmas is coming up fast as well, geeeeez it seems like everything is happening fast. is it always going to seem like this from now on? i can't even keep on one topic cause there is so much going on! anyway. to sum it all up. 21 weeks. work is good. and i couldn't possibly be happier. did that make any sense?

furniture.
it's amazing how much you can spend on furniture. jess and i have visited a few baby furniture stores and i couldn't believe how expensive furniture costs! so jess and i hit the internet and went on a hunt on kijiji. so after just a few short days we found a dresser! $40.00, older, white, and in decent condition. so i got a hold of one of my buddies liam and we went and picked up the dresser! jess was gone this weekend and i got a little bored so i painted it. check it out! next step. drop off recliner at the upholsterers to get re-upholstered. i'll take a before and after picture. here's the dresser. in front of the wall we did last week.

getting it done.
jess and i are getting it done or gettin er' dun as some would say. we jumped right into the nursery this weekend and started painting. jess found what she wanted for colors/design and let me have at it! it turned out great and on top of it all we found an awesome dresser for $40.00! good old kijiji! so now i get the pleasure of refinishing and or painting it! exciting times feels like the room is starting to come together which is making it all feel much more real which is exciting! i'll keep you updated and try to post some pictures. these are the colors and this is the design on one of the walls. i think i nailed it!
